I doodle. I design. I daydream. For better or worse, this is the evidence.

All of the pieces of art, projects, and photography are my original work.

Santa Fe

Santa Fe, Argentina

Sante Fe served as my base camp for traveling Argentina while I studied there through an exchange program through the Schools of Architecture at the University of Utah and La Universidad Nacional Litoral. The city of Santa Fe is the capital of the Provence of Santa Fe. As the administrational highway Santa Fe attracts a lot of attention but not for its size. A  small, easily manageable city by foot and bike, Santa Fe has retained a unique character based on the economical hardships shown through culture, music, art, dance, craft, and industry. It's a city that shows it's bones. It wears the scars of recession, the resilience of the human spirit, the mark of progression at all paces of industry, and the flourishing influence of the arts. The prevalent implementation of adaptive reuse and historic preservation simply serve as symbols of the hardship and reaffirmed desire to embrace change and hold on to what's important. It was originally established by Juan de Garay in 1573 along the Salado lagoon and the Parana River.

This cultural exchange turned out to be than just architecture, although that was my principal purpose in going. We stayed in the Casa Iche in the Barrio Candioti, an ancient neighborhood with a lot of historic homes. The university and city of Santa Fe provided innumerable opportunities to learn and grow including an internship with CBAyA and a radio interview with LT9
